আমার       যে গান তোমার পরশ পাবে
থাকে কোথায় গহন মনের ভাবে?।

সুরে সুরে খুঁজি তারে       অন্ধকারে,

আমার       যে আঁখিজল তোমার পায়ে নাবে
থাকে কোথায় গহন মনের ভাবে?।

যখন     শুষ্ক প্রহর বৃথা কাটাই
চাহি     গানের লিপি তোমায় পাঠাই।
কোথায় দুঃখসুখের তলায়       সুর যে পলায়,

আমার       যে শেষ বাণী তোমার দ্বারে যাবে
থাকে কোথায় গহন মনের ভাবে?।

Thaake kothay gahon moner bhaabe.
Sure sure khunji taare andhokaare,
Aamar   je aankhijal tomar paaye naabe.
Jakhon  shusko prohar britha kaatai
Chaahi  gaaner lipi tomay paathai.
Kothay dukkha sukher talay sur je palay,
Aamar   je shesh baani tomar dwaare jaabe.
