বাহির হলেম আমি আপন ভিতর হতে,

নীল আকাশে পাড়ি দেব খ্যাপা হাওয়ার স্রোতে॥

আমের মুকুল ফুটে ফুটে যখন পড়ে ঝ’রে ঝ’রে

মাটির আঁচল ভ’রে ভ’রে–

ঝরাই আমার মনের কথা ভরা ফাগুন-চোতে॥

কোথা তুই     প্রাণের দোসর বেড়াস
ঘুরি ঘুরি–

বনবীথির আলোছায়ায় করিস লুকোচুরি।

আমার   একলা বাঁশি পাগলামি তার পাঠায় দিগন্তরে

তোমার গানের তরে–

কবে   বসন্তেরে জাগিয়ে দেব আমাতে আর তোতে
॥

Neel aakashe paari debo khyapa haawar srote.
Aamer mukul phute phute jakhon pore jhore jhore
Maatir aanchal bhore bhore-
Jhorai aamar moner katha bhara phaagun-chote.
Kotha tui praaner dosor beras ghuri ghuri -
Bonobithir aalochhaayay koris lukochuri..
Aamar ekla bnaashi  paaglami  taar paathai digantare.
Tomar gaaner tare -
Kabe  basontere jaagiye debo aamate aar tote.
