ধূসর জীবনের
গোধূলিতে   ক্লান্ত মলিন যেই স্মৃতি

     মুছে-আসা সেই ছবিটিতে
রঙ এঁকে দেয় মোর গীতি॥

বসন্তের ফুলের পরাগে   যেই রঙ জাগে,

ঘুম-ভাঙা পিককাকলীতে   যেই রঙ লাগে,

যেই রঙ পিয়ালছায়ায়   ঢালে শুক্লসপ্তমীর তিথি॥

     সেই ছবি দোলা
খায়   রক্তের হিল্লোলে,

     সেই ছবি মিশে
যায়      নির্ঝরকল্লোলে,

দক্ষিণসমীরণে ভাসে,   পূর্ণিমাজ্যোৎস্নায় হাস–

সে আমারি স্বপ্নের অতিথি॥
