দিনশেষে বসন্ত যা প্রাণে গেল বলে

   তাই নিয়ে বসে আছি, বীণাখানি কোলে॥

      তারি সুর নেব ধরে

      আমারি গানেতে ভরে,

      ঝরা মাধবীর সাথে যায়
সে যে চলে॥

থামো থামো দখিনপবন,

কী বারতা   এনেছ তা   কোরো না গোপন।

       যে দিনেরে
নাই মনে   তুমি তারি উপবনে

       কী ফুল
পেয়েছ খুঁজে– গন্ধে প্রাণ ভোলে॥

Dinosheshe basonto jaa praane gelo bole
Taai niye bose aachhi, binakhani kole.
Taari sur nebo dhore
Aamari gaanete bhore,
Jhara maadhobir saathe jaay se je chole.
Thaamo thaamo dokhinopabon,
Ki barota   enechho ta    koro na gopan.
Je dinere naai mone    tumi taari upobone
Ki phul peyechho khnuje -   gandhe praan bhole.
