Kothay phiris param

কোথায় ফিরিস পরম শেষের অন্বেষণে।

অশেষ হয়ে সেই তো আছে এই ভুবনে॥

তারি বাণী দু হাত বাড়ায় শিশুর বেশে,

আধো ভাষায় ডাকে তোমার বুকে এসে,

তারি ছোঁওয়া লেগেছে ওই কুসুমবনে॥

কোথায় ফিরিস ঘরের লোকের অন্বেষণে–

পর হয়ে সে দেয় যে দেখা ক্ষণে ক্ষণে।

তার বাসা-যে সকল ঘরের বাহির-দ্বারে,

তার আলো যে সকল পথের ধারে ধারে,

তাহারি রূপ গোপন রূপে জনে জনে॥

Ashesh hoye sei to aachhe ei bhubane.
Taari baani du haat baaray shishur beshe,
Aadho bhaashay daake tomar buke ese,
Taari chnowa legechhe oi kusumobone.
Kothay phiris gharer loker anweshane -
Par hoye se dey je dekha khane khane.
Taar baasa-je sakol gharer baahir-dwaare,
Taar aalo je sakol pather dhaare dhaare,
Taahari rup gopan rupe jane jane.
