Mor probhater ei prothom

মোর   প্রভাতের এই প্রথম খনের কুসুমখানি
তুমি   জাগাও তারে ওই নয়নের আলোক হানি॥
সে যে   দিনের বেলায় করবে খেলা হাওয়ায় দুলে,
রাতের   অন্ধকারে নেবে তারে বক্ষে তুলে–
ওগো   তখনি তো গন্ধে তাহার ফুটবে বাণী॥
আমার   বীণাখানি পড়ছে আজি সবার চোখে,
হেরো   তারগুলি তার দেখছে গুনে সকল লোকে।
ওগো   কখন সে যে সভা ত্যেজে আড়াল হবে,
শুধু   সুরটুকু তার উঠবে বেজে করুণ রবে–
যখন   তুমি তারে বুকের 'পরে লবে টানি॥

Mor    probhater aai prothom khoner kushumkhaani
Tumi   jaagao taare oi nayoner aalok haani.
Se je   diner belaay korbe khela haaway dule,
Raater   andhokare nebe taare bokkhe tule -
Ogo   takhoni to gandhe taahar phutbe baani.
Aamar   binakhani porchhe aaji sabar chokhe,
Hero   taarguli taar dekchhe gune sakol loke.
Ogo   kakhon se je sabha tyeje aaral hobe,
Shudhu   surtuku taar utthbe beje korun rabe -
Jakhon   tumi taare buker pare lobe taani.
