নব বসন্তের দানের ডালি

    এনেছি তোদেরই দ্বারে,

   লতার বাঁধন হারায়ে মাধবী মরিছে কেঁদে,

   বেণীর বাঁধনে রাখিবি, বেঁধে–

অলকদোলায় দোলাবি তারে

   বনমধুরি করিবি চুরি   আপন নবীন
মাধুরিতে–

  সোহিনী রাগিণী    জাগাবে সে তোদের

        দেহের
বীণার তারে তারে,
