      ওদের কথায় ধাঁদা লাগে, তোমার কথা আমি বুঝি।

       তোমার আকাশ তোমার বাতাস এই তো সবই সোজাসুজি॥

    হৃদয়কুসুম আপনি ফোটে,  জীবন আমার ভরে ওঠে–

       দুয়ার খুলে চেয়ে দেখি হাতের কাছে সকল পুঁজি॥

       সকাল সাঁজে সুর যে বাজে ভুবন-জোড়া তোমার নাটে,

       আলোর জোয়ার বেয়ে তোমার তরী আসে আমার ঘাটে।

    শুনব কী আর বুঝব কী বা,   এই তো দেখি রাত্রিদিবা

          ঘরেই তোমার আনাগোনা–

                  পথে কি আর তোমায় খুঁজি॥

Oder kathay dhnaada laage, tomar kotha aami bujhi.
Tomar aakash, tomar baatas, ei to sobi sojasujhi.
Hridaykusum aaponi phute,   jibon aamar bhore otthey -
Duwar khule cheye dekhi haather kaache sakol pnuji.
Sakaal snaajhe sur je baaje bubhon-jora tomar naate,
Aalor jowar beye tomar tori aase aamar ghaate.
Sunbo ki aar bujhbho ki baa, ei to dekhi raatridiba
Ghorei tomar aanagona -
Pathe ki aar tomar khnujhi.
