প্রথম আলোর চরণধ্বনি উঠল বেজে যেই

নীড়বিরাগী হৃদয় আমার উধাও হল সেই॥

নীল অতলের কোথা থেকে  উদাস তারে করল যে কে

গোপনবাসী সেই উদাসীর ঠিক-ঠিকানা নেই॥

          ‘সুপ্তিশয়ন
আয় ছেড়ে আয়’ জাগে রে তার ভাষা,

সে বলে ‘চল্ আছে যেথায় সাগরপারের বাসা’।

দেশ-বিদেশের সকল ধারা   সেইখানে হয় বাঁধনহারা,

কোণের প্রদীপ মিলায় শিখা জ্যোতিসমুদ্রেই॥

Prothom aalor charondhonni utthutlo beje jei
Nirbiraagi hriday aamar udhao holo sei.
Nil atoler kotha theke    udaas taare korlo je ke
Gopanbaasi sei udaasir thik-thikana nei.
'Suptishayon aay chere aay' jaage je taar bhaasha,
Se bale 'Chal aachhe jethay saagorpaarer baasa'.
Desh-bidesher sakol dhaara    seikhane hoi bnaadhonhaara
Koner prodip milay shikha jotisomudrei.
