রুদ্রবেশে কেমন খেলা, কালো মেঘের ভ্রূকুটি!

সন্ধ্যাকাশের বক্ষ যে ওই বজ্রবাণে যায় টুটি॥

     সুন্দর হে, তোমায়
চেয়ে   ফুল ছিল সব শাখা ছেয়ে,

ঝড়ের বেগে আঘাত লেগে ধুলায় তারা যায় লুটি॥

মিলনদিনে হঠাৎ কেন লুকাও তোমার মাধুরী!

ভীরুকে ভয় দেখাতে চাও, একি দারুণ চাতুরী!

     যদি তোমার কঠিন
ঘায়ে   বাঁধন দিতে চাও ঘুচায়ে

কঠোর বলে টেনে নিয়ে বক্ষে তোমার দাও ছুটি॥

Sondhaakasher bokkho je oi bajrobaane jaay tuti  .
Sundaro he tomay cheye
Phul chhilo sab shaakha chheye,
Jharer bege aaghat lege dhulay taara jaay luti.
Milanodine hatthat keno lukao tomar maadhuri!
Bhiru ke bhoy dekhate chaao, eki daarun chaaturi!
Jodi tomar katthin ghaaye
Bnaadhon dite chaao ghuchaye,
Katthor bole tene niye bokkhe tomar dao chhuti.
