Amar dhala ganer dhara

আমার ঢালা গানের ধারা সেই তো তুমি পিয়েছিলে,
  আমার গাঁথা স্বপন-মালা কখন চেয়ে নিয়েছিলে॥
    মন যবে মোর দূরে দূরে
    ফিরেছিল আকাশ ঘুরে
    তখন আমার ব্যথার সুরে
    আভাস দিয়ে গিয়েছিলে॥

যবে     বিদায় নিয়ে যাব চলে
   মিলন-পালা সাঙ্গ হলে
     শরৎ-আলোয় বাদল-মেঘে
     এই কথাটি রইবে লেগে–
     এই শ্যামলে এই নীলিমায়
       আমায় দেখা দিয়েছিলে॥

Aamar gnaatha swapono-maala kakhon cheye niyechhile.
Mon jobe mor dure dure
Phirechhilo aakash ghure
Takhon aamar byathar sure
Aabhas diye giyechhilo.
Jobe   biday niye jaabo chole
Milan-paala sango hole
Sharot-aaloy baadol-meghe
Ei kathati roibe lege -
Ei shyamale ei nilimay
Aamay dekha diyechhile.
