বাদল-মেঘে মাদল বাজে     গুরুগুরু
গগন-মাঝে॥

      তারি গভীর
রোলে     আমার হৃদয় দোলে,

আপন সুরে আপনি ভোলে॥

কোথায় ছিল গহন প্রাণে
গোপন ব্যথা গোপন গানে–

      আজি সজল
বায়ে       শ্যামল
বনের ছায়ে

ছড়িয়ে গেল সকলখানে গানে গানে॥

Taari gobhir role   aamar hridoy dole,
Kothay chhilo gahon praane  gopan byatha gopon gaane -
Aaji sajol baaye  shyamol boner chhaaye
Chhoriye gelo sakolkhaane  gaane gaane.
