বর্ষণমন্দ্রিত
অন্ধকারে     এসেছি তোমারি দ্বারে,

পথিকেরে লহো ডাকি     তব মন্দিরের এক
ধারে॥

বনপথ হতে, সুন্দরী,   এনেছি মল্লিকামঞ্জরী –

তুমি লবে নিজ বেণীবন্ধে   মনে রেখেছি এ দুরাশারে॥

কোনো কথা নাহি ব'লে    ধীরে ধীরে ফিরে যাব চলে।

ঝিল্লিঝঙ্কৃত নিশীথে     পথে যেতে
বাঁশরিতে

শেষ গান পাঠাব তোমা-পানে শেষ উপহারে॥

Pothikere laho daaki     tabo mondirer ek dhaare.
Bonopath hote, sundari,    enechhi mollikamonjari -
Tumi lobe nijo benibondhe     mone rekhechhi e durashare.
Kono katha naahi bole    dhire dhire phire jaabo chole.
Jhilli jhonkrito nishithe pothe jete bnaashorite
Shesh gaan paathabo toma-paane shesh upohare.
