বসন্ত, তোর শেষ করে দে, শেষ করে দে, শেষ করে দে রঙ্গ–

ফুল ফোটাবার খ্যাপামি, তোর উদ্দামতরঙ্গ॥

     উড়িয়ে দেবার ছড়িয়ে
দেবার   মাতন তোমার থামুক এবার,

  নীড়ে ফিরে আসুক তোমার পথহারা বিহঙ্গ॥

তোমার   সাধের মুকুল কতই পড়ল ঝরে–

তারা    ধুলা হল,
তারা   ধুলা দিল ভরে।

     প্রখর তাপে
জরোজরো   ফল ফলাবার সাধন ধরো,

  হেলাফেলার পালা তোমার এই বেলা হোক ভঙ্গ॥

Phul photabaar khyapami, taar uddamo tarongo.
Uriye debar, chhoriye debar    maaton tomar thaamuk ebar,
Nire phire aasuk tomar pathohaara bihango.
Tomar    saadher mukul kotoi porlo jhore -
Taara    dhula holo, taara     dhula dilo bhore.
Prokharo taape jarojaro     phal phalabar saadhon dharo,
Helaphelar paala tomar ei bela hok bhango.
