যে ধ্রুবপদ দিয়েছ বাঁধি বিশ্বতানে
মিলাব তাই জীবনগানে॥
গগনে তব বিমল নীল–হৃদয়ে লব তাহারি মিল,
শান্তিময়ী গভীর বাণী নীরব প্রাণে॥
বাজায় ঊষা নিশীথকূলে যে গীতভাষা
সে
ধ্বনি নিয়ে জাগিবে মোর নবীন আশা।
ফুলের মতো সহজ সুরে প্রভাত মোর উঠিবে পূরে,
সন্ধ্যা মম সে সুরে যেন মরিতে জানে॥ Transliteration
Je dhrubopado diyechho bnaadhi bishwotaane Milabo taai jibanogaane. Gagone tabo bimalo nil - hridaye labo taahari mil, Shaantimoyi gobhir baani nirabo praane. Baajay usha nishithokule je gitobhaasha Se dhwoni niye jaagibe mor nobino aasha. Phuler mato sahojo sure probhat mamo utthibe pure, Sondha mamo se sure jeno morite jaane.

O' Divine with the immutable note that thou hast bound the Cosmic Raga Let me harmonize my life's song with this note. Your skies are pellucid and blue - let my heart concur, A peaceful, profound missive within the silence of my soul. The song of awakening that is played upon nights shores Let its echo awaken my youthful hope. Like the simple tunes of a flower - let my morning be filled, With tunes to which my evening may be laid to rest.
