নিশি না পোহাতে জীবনপ্রদীপ জ্বালাইয়া যাও প্রিয়া,

তোমার অনল দিয়া॥

কবে যাবে তুমি সমুখের পথে দীপ্ত শিখাটি বাহি

আছি তাই পথ চাহি।

পুড়িবে বলিয়া রয়েছে আশায় আমার নীরব হিয়া

আপন আঁধার নিয়া॥
