ও কী কথা বল সখী,   ছি ছি,   ও কথা
মনে এনো না॥

      আজি সুখের
দিনে জগত হাসিছে,

হেরো লো দশ দিশি   হরষে ভাসিছে—

আজি ও ম্লান মুখ   প্রাণে যে সহে না।

সুখের দিনে, সখী,   কেন ও ভাবনা॥

O ki katha balo sokhi,   chhi chhi,   o katha mone eno na.
Aaji sukher dine jagoto haasichhe,
Hero lo dasho dishi    haroshe bhaasichhe -
Aaji o mlaano mukh    praane je sahe na.
Sukher dine, sokhi,   keno o bhaabona.
