সেদিনেরই মাধবীবনে আজও তেমনি ফুল ফুটেছে

তেমনি গন্ধ ঢালা॥

আজি তন্দ্রাবিহীন রাতে ঝিল্লিঝঙ্কারে স্পন্দিত পবনে

তব অঞ্চলের কম্পন সঞ্চারে।

আজি পরজে বাজে বাঁশি

   যেন হৃদয়ে বহুদূরে আবেশবিহবল সুরে।

বিকচ মল্লিমাল্যে তোমারে স্মরিয়া রেখেছি ভরিয়া ডালা॥
