           প্রচণ্ড  গর্জনে আসিল  একি দুর্দিন–

             দারুণ  ঘনঘটা, অবিরল  অশনিতর্জন॥

             ঘন ঘন  দামিনী-ভুজঙ্গ-ক্ষত  যামিনী,

             অম্বর  করিছে  অন্ধনয়নে  অশ্রু-বরিষন॥

             ছাড়ো  রে শঙ্কা, জাগো  ভীরু অলস,

             আনন্দে  জাগাও অন্তরে  শকতি।

             অকুন্ঠ  আঁখি মেলে  হেরো  প্রশান্ত  বিরাজিত

             মহাভয়-মহাসনে  অপরূপ  মৃত্যুঞ্জয়রূপে  ভয়হরণ॥

Deeply overcast sky, relentless cracking sound of the thunder.
Every now and then the night groaning with pain like an injured serpent,
The sky blind-folded, tears dripping persistently.
Shake away all anxiety, rising call to the scared and indolent,
Behold confidently the existence of peace everywhere
Magnificently composed, as a death-defier, on the throne of valor.
