দলিত কুসুমে বহে বসন্তসমীরণ ॥
ফুরায়ে গিয়াছে বেলা— এখন এ মিছে খেলা
নিশান্তে মলিন দীপ কেন জ্বলে অকারণ ॥

Aar keno, aar keno
Dalito kusume bahe basanto-somiran.
Phuraye giyechhe bela -   ekhon e michhe khela -
Nishante molin deep keno jwale akaron.
Oshru jabe phurayechhe takhon muchhate ele,
Oshrubhara haasibhara nobin nayon phele !
Ei lawo, ei dharo, e maala tomra paro -
E khela tomra khelo, shukhe thaako onukhhan.
