বাণী মোর নাহি,

স্তব্ধ হৃদয় বিছায়ে চাহিতে শুধু জানি॥

আমি অমাবিভাবরী আলোহারা,

মেলিয়া অগণ্য তারা

নিষ্ফল আশায় নিঃশেষ পথ চাহি॥

তুমি যবে বাজাও বাঁশি   সুর আসে ভাসি

নীরবতার গভীরে   বিহবল বায়ে

নিদ্রাসমুদ্র পারায়ে।

তোমার সুরের প্রতিধ্বনি তোমারে দিই ফিরায়ে,

কে জানে সে কি পশে তব স্বপ্নের তীরে

বিপুল অন্ধকার বাহি॥

Tumi jabe baajao bnaashi    sur aashe bhaasi

Nidrasomudro paaraye.
Tomar surer protiddhwoni    tomare di-i phiraye,
Ke jaane se ke paashe tabo swapner tire
Bipulo andhokar baahi.
