বন্ধু, রহো রহো সাথে
আজি এ সঘন শ্রাবণপ্রাতে।
ছিলে কি মোর স্বপনে সাথিহারা রাতে॥
বন্ধু, বেলা বৃথা যায রে
আজি এ বাদলে আবুল হাওযায রে—
কথা কও মোর হৃদযে, হাত রাখো হাতে॥

Bondhu raho raho saathe
Aaji e saghano shraabono praate.
Chhile ki mor swapone saathihaara raate.
Bondhu bela britha jaay re
Aaji e baadole aakul haaway re -
Katha kao mor hridaye, haath raakho haate.
