Bujhi bela bohe

বুঝি     বেলা বহে যায়,

কাননে আয় তোরা আয়।

      আলোতে ফুল উঠল
ফুটে,   ছায়ায় ঝরে পড়ে যায়॥

      সাধ ছিল রে পরিয়ে
দেব   মনের মতো মালা গেঁথে–

      কই সে হল মালা
গাঁথা,   কই সে এল হায়।

যমুনার ঢেউ যাচ্ছে বয়ে,   বেলা চলে যায়॥

Bujhi bela bohe jaay,
Kaanone aay tora aay.
Aalote phul utthlo phute chhaayay jhore pore jaay.
Saadh chhilo re poriye debo moner maton maala gnethe -
Koi se holo maala gnaatha, koi se elo haay.
Jomunar dheu jaachchhe boye, bela chole jaay.
