Duar mor pathapashe

দুয়ার মোর পথপাশে,   সদাই তারে খুলে রাখি।

কখন্ তার রথ আসে   ব্যাকুল হয়ে জাগে আঁখি॥

            শ্রাবনে
শুনি দূর মেঘে   লাগায় গুরু গরো-গরো,

ফাগুনে শুনি বায়ুবেগে   জাগায় মৃদু মরো-মরো–

আমার বুকে উঠে জেগে  চমক তার থাকি থাকি॥

সবাই দেখি যায় চলে   পিছন-পানে নাহি চেয়ে

উতল রোলে কল্লোলে  পথের গান গেয়ে গেয়ে।

শরৎ-মেঘ যায় ভেসে   উধাও হয়ে কত দূরে

যেথায় সব পথ মেশে   গোপন কোন্ সুরপুরে।

স্বপনে ওড়ে কোন্ দেশে   উদাস মোর মনোপাখি॥

Kakhon taar ratho aase    byakul hoye jaage aakhi.
Shraabone shuni dur meghe    laagay guru garo-garo,
Phaagune shuni baayubege    jaagay mridu maro-maro -
Aamar buke utthe jege    chamok taari thaaki thaaki.
Sabai dekhi jaay chole    pichan-paane naahi cheye
Utalo role kallole    pather gaan geye geye.
Sharot-megh jaay bhese    udhaao hoye kato dure
Jethay sab patho meshe    gopan kon suropure.
Swapone ore kon deshe    udaas mor monopaakhi.
