Ei kothatai chhilem bhule

এই কথাটাই ছিলেম ভুলে–

    মিলব আবার সবার সাথে
ফাল্গুনের এই ফুলে ফুলে॥

    অশোকবনে আমার হিয়া
নতুন পাতায় উঠবে জিয়া,

    বুকের মাতন টুটবে
বাঁধন   যৌবনেরই কূলে কূলে

ফাল্গুনের এই ফুলে ফুলে॥

বাঁশিতে গান উঠবে পূরে

    নবীন-রবির-বাণী-ভরা
আকাশবীণার সোনার সুরে।

    আমার মনের সকল কোণে
ভরবে গগন আলোক-ধনে,

    কান্নাহাসির বন্যারই
নীর   উঠবে আবার দুলে দুলে

ফাল্গুনের এই ফুলে ফুলে॥

Nobin-robir-baani-bhara    aakashbinar sonar sure.
Aamar moner sakol kone   ogo   bhorbe gagon aalok dhane,
Kaannahaasir bonyari nir    utthbe aabar dule dule
