যে আমারে পাঠাল এই
অপমানের অন্ধকারে
পূজিব না, পূজিব না সেই দেবতারে পূজিব না ।
কেন দেব ফুল, কেন দেব ফুল,
কেন দেব ফুল আমি তারে—
যে আমারে চিরজীবন
রেখে দিল এই ধিক্কারে ।
জানি না হায় রে কী দুরাশায় রে
পূজাদীপ জ্বালি মন্দিরদ্বারে ।
আলো তার নিল হরিয়া
দেবতা ছলনা করিয়া,
আঁধারে রাখিল আমারে ॥
