উড়ে চলে দিগ্দিগন্তের পানে
নি:সীম শূন্যে শ্রাবণবর্ষণসঙ্গীতে
রিমিঝিম রিমিঝিম রিমিঝিম॥
মন মোর হংসবলাকার পাখায় যায় উড়ে
ক্বচিৎ ক্বচিৎ চকিত তড়িত-আলোকে।
ঝঞ্ঝনমঞ্জীর বাজায় ঝঞ্ঝা রুদ্র
আনন্দে।
কলো কলো কলমন্দ্রে নির্ঝরিণী
ডাক দেয় প্রলয়-আহবানে॥
বায়ু বহে পূর্বসমুদ্র হতে
উচ্ছল ছলো ছলো তটিনীতরঙ্গে।
মন মোর ধায় তারি মত্ত প্রবাহে
তাল-তমাল-অরণ্যে
ক্ষুব্ধ শাখার আন্দোলনে॥ Transliteration
Mon mor megher songi, Ure chale digdigantero paane Nihsimo shunye shraabonobarshanosongite Rimijhim rimijhim rimijhim. Mono mor hangsobalakar paakhay jaay ure Kochito kochito chokito torito-aaloke. Jhanjhanomonjiro baajay jhanjha rudro aanonde. Kalo-kalo kalomondre nirjhorini Dsak dey prolay-aahwaane. Baayu bahe purbosomudro hote Uchchhalo chhalo-chhalo totinitaronge. Mono mor dhaay taari matto probahe Taal-tamalo-aronye Khubdho shaakhar aandolane.

My mind is accompanying clouds Floating towards the far horizon High in the endless void, along with the rain-song of the SHRAVANA – Rim-jhim, Rim-jhim, Rim-jhim. My mind flies with the flutter of the crane-wings, Occasional flashings of the thunder illuminate. Blizzard sounds like feet-jewellery in the scary divine expression of joy. Gushing sound from the springs Beacons for devastation. Wind blows from the eastern ocean,* Nimble, wet breeze like smooth wave of a river. My mind tends to speed away with its crazy flow – In the woods, bushes of TAAL-TAMAL – With the fanatic movements of their branches.
