Nibiro ama timiro hote

নিবিড় অমা-তিমির হতে  বাহির হল জোয়ার-স্রোতে

    শুক্লরাতে চাঁদের তরণী।

       ভরিল ভরা
অরূপ ফুলে, সাজালো ডালা অমরাকূলে

আলোর মালা চামেলি-বরনী॥

তিথির পরে তিথির ঘাটে  আসিছে তরি দোলের নাটে,

    নীরবে হাসে স্বপনে ধরণী।

উৎসবের পসরা নিয়ে  পূর্ণিমার কূলেতে কি এ

   ভিড়িল শেষে তন্দ্রাহরণী॥

Transliteration

Nibiro ama timiro hote baahiro holo jowaro-srote
Shukloraate chnaadero taroni.
Bhorilo bhara arupo phule,   saajalo daala amorakule
Aalor maala chaameli-baroni.
Tithir pore tithir ghaate    aasichhe tori doler naate,
Nirobe haase swapone dharoni.
Utsabero pashora niye   purnimar kulete ki e
Bhirilo sheshe tandraharoni.

The lunar dinghy emerges slowly in the moonlit night,
From the darkness of the new moon with surging tide.
Beautiful flowers loaded on the boat,
Placed a decor DALA close to the heaven,
Chain of CHAMELI coloured lights illuminated.
The boat approaches DOL-square –
With the days of its gradual development.
The earth quietly smiles, as if in dreams.
Docking on the full moon is complete
With festive commodities,
Renders sleepless.
