নিশীথরাতের প্রাণ

   কোন্ সুধা যে চাঁদের আলোয় আজ করেছে পান॥

মনের সুখে তাই   আজ   গোপন কিছু নাই,

   আঁধার-ঢাকা ভেঙে ফেলে সব করেছে দান॥

   দখিন-হাওয়ায় তার   সব খুলেছে
দ্বার।

তারি নিমন্ত্রণে   আজি   ফিরি বনে বনে

সঙ্গে করে এনেছি এই

রাত-জাগা মোর গান॥

Kon sudha je chnaader aaloy aaj korechhe paan.
Moner sukhe taai   aaj   gopan kichhu naai,
Aandhar dhaaka bhenge phele sob korechhe daan.
Dokhin haaway taar sob khulechhe dwaar.
Taari nimantrane   aaji   phiri bone bone,
Songe kore enechhi ei
Raat-jaaga mor gaan.
