ফাগুনের নবীন আনন্দে

     গানখানি গাঁথিলাম ছন্দে॥

দিল তারে বনবীথি   কোকিলের কলগীতি,

ভরি দিল বকুলের গন্ধে॥

     মাধবীর মধুময় মন্ত্র

     রঙে রঙে রাঙালো দিগন্ত।

বাণী মম নিল তুলি     পলাশের কলিগুলি,

বেঁধে দিল তব মণিবন্ধে॥

Phagunero nobino aanonde
Gaankhani gnaathilam chhande.
Dilo taare bonobithi kokilero kalogiti,
Bhori dilo bakuler gandhe.
Maadhobiro modhumay montro
Range range raangalo diganto.
Baani mamo nilo tuli palashero koliguli,
Bnedhe dilo tabo monibandhe.
