Rajpurite bajay banshi

রাজপুরীতে বাজায় বাঁশি বেলাশেষের তান।
পথে চলি, শুধায় পথিক  ‘কী নিলি তোর দান '॥

দেখাব যে সবার কাছে এমন আমার কী-বা আছে,
সঙ্গে আমার আছে শুধু এই কখানি গান॥
ঘরে আমার রাখতে যে হয় বহু লোকের মন–
অনেক বাঁশি, অনেক কাঁসি,  অনেক আয়োজন।

বঁধুর কাছে আসার বেলায়   গানটি শুধু নিলেম গলায়,
তারি গলার মাল্য ক 'রে করব মূল্যবান॥

Pathe choli, shudhay pothik  ‘kee nili tor daan’.
Dekhabo je sabar kaachhe   eman aamar kee ba aachhe,
Sange aamar aachhe shudhu ei kakhaani gaan.
Ghare aamar raakhate je hoy bahu loker mon-
Anek bnaashi, anek knaasi, anek aayojon.
Bnaadhur kaachhe aasar belay   gaanti shudhu nilem galay,
Taari galar mallo kore korbo mulloban.
