আবার শ্রাবণ হযে এলে ফিরে,
মেঘ-আঁচলে নিলে ঘিরে ॥
সূর্য হারায, হারায তারা আঁধারে পথ হয-যে হারা,
টেউ দিযেছে নদীর নীরে ॥
সকল আকাশ, সকল ধরা বর্ষগেরই-বাণী-ভরা ।
ঝরো ঝরো ধারায মাতি বাজে আমার আঁধার রাতি,
বাজে আমার শিরে শিরে ॥

Aabar shraabon hoye ele phire,
Megh aanchole nile ghire.
Surjo haaray, haaray taara    aandhare path hoy-je haara,
Dheu diyechhe nodir nire.
Sakol aakash, sakol dhara    barsoneri-baani-bhara.
Jharo jharo dhaaraya maati   baaje aamar aadhar raati,
Baaje aamar shire shire.
