Shuni oi runujhunu paye

শুনি ওই রুনুঝুনু   পায়ে পায়ে নূপুরধ্বনি

চকিত পথে   বনে বনে॥

নির্ঝর ঝরো ঝরো   ঝরিছে দূরে,

জলতলে বাজে শিলা ঠুনু-ঠুনু ঠুনু-ঠুনু॥

ঝিল্লিঝঙ্কৃত বেণুবনছায়া   পল্লবমর্মরে কাঁপে,

পাপিয়া ডাকে,   পুলকিত শিরীষশাখে

               দোল
দিয়ে যায় দক্ষিণবায়   পুন
পুন॥

Nirjhar jharo jharo  jhorichhe dure,
Jalotale baaje shila thunu-thunu-thunu-thunu.
Jhillijhankrito benubanochhaaya    pallabomarmare knaape,
Paapiya daake,  pulokito shirishshaakhe
Dol diye jaay dokkhinobaay   puno puno.
