হীনতাপঙ্কে মজ্জিত হে॥
নাহি পৌরুষ, নাহি
বিচারণা, কঠিন তপস্যা, সত্যসাধনা—
অন্তরে
বাহিরে ধর্মে কর্মে সকলই ব্রহ্মবিবর্জিত হে॥
ধিক্কৃত লাঞ্ছিত পৃথ্বী
’পরে, ধূলিবিলুণ্ঠিন্ত
সুপ্তিভরে—
রুদ্র,
তোমার নিদারুণ বজ্রে করো তারে সহসা তর্জিত হে॥
পর্বতে প্রান্তরে নগরে
গ্রামে জাগ্রত ভারত ব্রহ্মের নামে,
পুণ্যে
বীর্যে অভয়ে অমৃতে হইবে পলকে সজ্জিত হে॥ Transliteration

Today my world is humiliated, O Dear, Sunk in bog of inferiority complex, O Dear. Devoid of heroism or judgement, stringent deliberations or explorations – All, in its deeds and ideology, seems entirely demoralized. Reprimanded on the earth, down to the dust – Shake it with your ruthless strike, O Lord. My land would spring into life in the name of Brahma – Hills, meadows, towns and villages in piety, valour, serenity and consistency.
