Besur baje re

বেসুর  বাজে রে,

          আর  কোথা নয়, কেবল  তোরই আপন-মাঝে  রে॥

          মেলে  না সুর এই  প্রভাতে    আনন্দিত  আলোর সাথে,

          সবারে  সে আড়াল করে, মরি  লাজে রে॥

                 ওরে  থামা রে  ঝঙ্কার।

          নীরব  হয়ে দেখ্ রে  চেয়ে, দেখ্ রে  চারি ধার।

          তোরই  হৃদয় ফুটে  আছে   মধুর হয়ে  ফুলের গাছে,

          নদীর  ধারা ছুটেছে  ওই তোরই কাজে  রে॥

Aar kotha noy, kebol tor-i aapono-maajhe re.
Mele na sur ei probhate    aanondito aalor saathe,
Sobare se aaral kare, mori laaje re.
Ore thaama re jhonkar.
Nirab hoye dekh re cheye, dekh re chaari dhaar.
Tor-i hriday phute aachhe    modhur hoye phuler gaachhe,
Nodir dhaara chhutechhe oi tor-i kaaje re.
