চরণরেখা তব  যে পথে দিলে লেখি

চিহ্ন আজি তারি    আপনি ঘুচালে কি॥

ছিল তো শেফালিকা   তোমারি-লিপি-লিখা,

তারে যে তৃণতলে   আজিকে লীন দেখি॥

কাশের শিখা যত    কাঁপিছে থরথরি,

মলিন মালতী যে    পড়িছে ঝরি ঝরি।

তোমার যে আলোকে    অমৃত দিত চোখে

স্মরণ তারো কি গো   মরণে যাবে ঠেকি॥

Charonorekha tabo je pathe dile lekhi
Chinho aaji taari aaponi ghuchale ki.
Chhilo to shephalika   tomari-lipi-likha,
Taare je trinotale    aajike leen dekhi.
Kaasher shikha jato knaapichhe tharothari,
Molino maaloti je porichhe jhari jhari.
Tomar je aaloke amrito ditoa chokhe
Smaran taaro ki go   marone jaabe theki.
