ভেলায়   বেলা-অবেলায়   প্রাণের আশা

ভোলা মনের স্রোতে ভাসা॥

      কোথায় জানি ধায় সে
বাণী,   দিনের শেষে

কোন্ ঘাটে যে ঠেকে এসে   চিরকালের কাঁদা-হাসা॥

     এমনি খেলার ঢেউয়ের দোলে

  খেলার পারে যাবি চলে।

       পালের
হাওয়ার ভরসা তোমার–করিস নে ভয়

পথের কড়ি না যদি রয়,   সঙ্গে আছে বাঁধন-নাশা॥

Gaaner bhelay    bela abelay    praaner aasha
Bhola moner srote bhaasa.
Kothay jaani dhaay se baani,   diner sheshe
Kon ghaate je ttheke ese    chirokaaler knaada-haasa.
Emni khelar dheuyer dole
Khelar paare jaabi chole.
Paaler haawar bhorsa tomar -   koris ne bhoy
Pather kori na jodi roy,   songe aachhe bnaadhon-naasha.
