Milonrati pohalo

মিলনরাতি পোহালো, বাতি নেভার বেলা এল–

       ফুলের পালা
ফুরালে ডালা উজাড় করে ফেলো॥

স্মৃতির ছবি মিলাবে যবে   ব্যথার তাপ কিছু তো রবে,

তা নিয়ে মনে বিজন খনে বিরহদীপ জ্বেলো॥

    ফাল্গুনের মাধবীলীলা কুঞ্জ ছিল ঘিরে,

       চৈত্রবনে
বেদনা তারি মর্মরিয়া ফিরে।

হয়েছে শেষ, তবুও বাকি  কিছু তো গান গিয়েছি রাখি–

সেটুকু নিয়ে গুনগুনিয়ে সুরের খেলা খেলো॥

Phuler paala phurale daala ujar kore phelo.
Smritir chhobi milabe jabe    byathar taap kichhu to rabe,
Ta niye mone bijano khone biraho dip jwelo.
Phaalguner maadhabilila kunjo chhilo ghire,
Choitrobone bedona tori mormoriya phire.
Hoyechhe shesh tabuo baaki kichhuto gaan giyachhe raakhi -
Setuko niye gunguniya surer khela khelo.
