Paye pori shono bhai

পায়ে পড়ি শোনো ভাই গাইয়ে,

মোদের    পাড়ার   থোড়া দূর দিয়ে
যাইয়ে॥

হেথা     সা রে গা মা
-গুলি
সদাই     করে চুলোচুলি,

কড়ি কোমল কোথা      গেছে
তলাইয়ে॥

হেথা আছে তাল-কাটা বাজিয়ে–

বাধাবে সে কাজিয়ে।

চৌতালে ধামারে

কে কোথায় ঘা মারে–

তেরে-কেটে মেরে-কেটে   ধাঁ-ধাঁ-ধাঁইয়ে॥

Paaye pori shono bhaai gaaiye,
Moder paarar thora dur diye jaaiye.
Hetha sa re ga ma -guli sadai kare chulochuli,
Kori komol kotha gechhe talaaiye.
Hetha aachhe taal-kaata baajiye -
Baadhabe se kaajiye.
Choutaale dhaamare
Ke kothay ghaa maare -
Tere-kete mere-kete dhnaa-dhnaa-dhnaaiye.
