Sur bhule jei ghure

সুর' ভুলে যেই ঘুরে বেড়াই কেবল কাজে
বুকে বাজে তোমার চোখের ভর্ৎসনা যে॥

উধাও আকাশ, উদার ধরা,       সুনীল-শ্যামল-সুধায়-ভরা
মিলায় দূরে, পরশ তাদের মেলে না যে–
বুকে বাজে তোমার চোখের ভর্ৎসনা যে॥
বিশ্ব যে সেই সুরের পথের হাওয়ায় হাওয়ায়
চিত্ত আমার ব্যাকুল করে আসা-যাওয়ায়।

তোমায় বসাই এ-হেন ঠাঁই     ভুবনে মোর আর-কোথা নাই,
মিলন হবার আসন হারাই আপন-মাঝে–
বুকে বাজে তোমার চোখের ভর্ৎসনা যে॥
