থাম্ থাম্,কী করিবি বধি পাখিটির প্রাণ !
দুটিতে রয়েছে সুখে, মনের উল্লাসে গাহিতেছে গান ।
রাখো মিছে ও-সব কথা,
কাছে মোদের এসো নাকো হেথা ।
চাই নে ও-সব শাস্তর কথা, সময় বহে যায় যে ।
শোনো শোনো মিছে রোষ করো না ।
থামো থামো ঠাকুর, এই ছাড়ি বাণ ।

Dutite royechhe sukhe, moner ullase gaahitechhe gaan.
Raakho michhe o-sab katha,
Kaachhe moder eso nako hetha,
Chaai ne o-sab shastor katha, samay bohe jay je.
Shono shono michhe rosh koro na.
