Ekhono gelo na adhar

এখনো  গেল না আঁধার, এখনো  রহিল বাধা।

            এখনো  মরণব্রত  জীবনে হল না  সাধা॥

            কবে যে  দুঃখজ্বালা   হবে রে  বিজয়মালা,

            ঝলিবে  অরুণরাগে  নিশীথ রাতের  কাঁদা॥

            এখনো  নিজেরই ছায়া   রচিছে  কত যে মায়া।

            এখনো  কেন-যে মিছে   চাহিছে  কেবলই পিছে,

            চকিতে  বিজলি-আলো  চোখেতে  লাগালো  ধাঁদা॥

Kobe je dukkhojwaala hobe re bijayomaala,
Jholibe orunoraage nishithoraatero knaada.
Ekhono nijeri chaaya rochiche kato je maaya.
Ekhono keno-je michhe chaahichhe keboli pichhe,
Chokite bijoli-aalo chokhete laagalo dhnaada.
